Meet Kiki Lucia
Kiki Lucia (she/her) is a Connecticut-based drag performance artist with a vast training and artistic background that includes: classical ballet, aerial acrobatics, music theatre, modern dance, and acting. She also has experience in theatre production, directing, costume and production design, and producing.
She regularly performs throughout Connecticut and occasionally at events in Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and New York and has also performed in Baltimore, MD, Washington, DC and Canada. Some notable role she has portrayed are Sarah Sanderson in 3 productions of Hocus Pocus Live (Summer Orlando Productions), Roxie Hart in Chicago (Summer Orlando Productions), featured performer in 3 different productions of Escapade: An Unusual Experience (Luis Antonio Productions), as well as the Narrator in The Legend Drag Show (International Festival of Arts & Ideas), the Narrator / “Spirit” in A DRAGtastic Journey (International Festival of Arts & Ideas), both of which she also co-produced, Ensemble in Burlesque-ish (Haus Posh Pearl), and Nosferatu in Sinners-ish (Haus Posh Pearl).
Her monthly show Let’s Have a Kiki, which celebrates 10 years of entertaining Connecticut in 2026, has regular gigs at Partners Café in New Haven and the Chez Est in Hartford. Let’s Have a Kiki, which is hosted and produced by Kiki, features a variety of regional drag and burlesque artists and has had over 150 performances since its inception in 2017.

When not performing, Kiki uses her experience as a non-profit and fundraising professional to raise awareness and funds for many LGBTQ+ organizations and other causes important to her. She has advocated to Connecticut legislature on behalf of multiple bills and laws and attended both local and national protests, including the 2017 Women’s March in New York City where a photo of her taken by photo journalist Peter Cary Peterson and has been viewed over 200,000 times on facebook and instagram, and was later included in an art instillation in a New York art gallery.
Kiki has been involved in the pride event community long before she started her career as a drag artist. She has performed at every major pride event in Connecticut and many of the smaller prides.
Kiki regularly hosts fundraisers and special events to benefit the Connecticut’s nonprofit sector which has included hosting the major fundraising events for many recognized organizations including the New Haven Pride Center, Long Wharf Theatre, the New Haven Free Public Library, and many others.
Early in her drag career, Kiki joined the Imperial Sovereign Court of All Connecticut, an LGBTQ+ fundraising organization. In her time as a member of the Court, she has helped raise well over $100,000 for LGBTQ+ nonprofits throughout Connecticut and hosted / co-hosted some of their most successful events including Dragapalooza and the Hartford Pridefest Afterparty.

Titles & honors.
While Kiki hasn’t competed in many pageants, she has earned several titles during her time. Kiki, is a member of the House of Legends, is a regular judge for the Chez Legends Pageant and a judge at the annual Mx. Chez Comedy Pageant, Connecticut’s only comedy drag pageant. Kiki has also competed twice for the title of Miss Big Adam’s Apple, a prelim for the National Miss Comedy Queen.
